We’re less than a day away from the second annual Ballin’ for Charity at Basketball City! It’s safe to say that the LeagueApps team is pretty excited to be a part of this great event.

If you’re returning from last year’s event, we have a few new things we’re excited about sharing with you this weekend. If you’re new to the event, you’ll be happy to learn below all the festivities we have planned for you! So if you’re team gets knocked out early, there will still be plenty to do, eat, and drink before a champion is crowned.

We’d like to extend a big thank you to both ProHEALTH Care Associates and Sales Loft for all their help with the planning of Ballin’ for Charity. Both of these amazing brands will have representatives at tomorrow’s event and are super excited to meet each and every one of you! Be sure to thank them for a job well done when you see them.

Knockout Competition

Who doesn’t love knockout? Last year’s knockout competition was so fun for everyone that we absolutely had to bring it back this year. Set your alarm clocks for 11:50 am, because the battle starts sharply short after.

Social Screen

We want everyone to be a part of the fun at the event AND on social media. Our partners at Basketball City have several large screens and TVs, so we’re going to put them to use. Join in on the social fun and add the hashtag BallinForCharity (#BallinForCharity) to all of your photos and posts on Instagram and Twitter. Then watch as your post jumps to the top of the TV and takes the lead of the social scoreboard!

Plus, DJ Hillman will be spinning tunes throughout the day. The party is sure to start early!

Dodgeball and Cornhole

Our partners from NYC Social will be helping us put on some fun games that go very well with our above-mentioned sponsors. If you’re looking to venture into more of an action-packed activity, look no further than dodgeball. For the rest of us looking to mellow out after some hard-fought pool games, cornhole sounds right up your alley.
